February 2023 saw some of the coldest weather we’ve seen in our area in nearly fifty years. We don’t like cold weather because it causes problems for our clients. Plus, we don’t sleep well when it’s cold, because we know there will be issues. We experienced four no heat situations and four broken pipe situations. One of these broken pipes created quite a mess. It was a heat pipe that broke and caused a lot of damage to our client home. But as is often said, it could have been worse. The home owner is grateful for our intervention. We cleaned up the mess. We arranged repairs of the heat pipe. We met with the insurance adjuster. We documented the damage with photographs. Our client was out of the country and unable to deal with this issue.
